Making an Impact

Ribbon CuttingThe Kiwanis Club of Toronto Foundation sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Toronto was incorporated in 1953 to provide a means to provide funds for children attending the Club's summer camp. In 1960 the student loan program commenced funded by a bequest from the Springer estate. Over the years, other bequests have been generously received from members. Today, the Foundation's main purpose is to support current Kiwanis activities which include the Kiwanis Music Festival and our Boys & Girls Clubs.

As well, the Kiwanis Club of Toronto Foundation reviews applications from numerous charities and non-profit organizations on a monthly basis finding the best opportunities to impact the community of downtown Toronto through financial donations. The Club is always looking at new projects or capital equipment to fund.

Members and guests joined together to celebrate the Opening of the Kiwanis House on Shuter Street in Toronto. Youth Workers from the Salvation Army are tenants in the building.
